This is an important fund raising event for the ALL VOLUNTEER Washoe County Republican Party (WCRP). Your contributions go toward paying the rent and operating expenses of the WCRP in this critical 2008 election year. Our focus will be registering Republicans, getting Republicans out to vote, and electing Republicans to office. If you can’t attend this event, please go to the online link below and make a contribution. Any amount will be most welcome.

To RSVP and pay for the event, please click here. For more information, please call Washoe County Republican Headquarters, 775-827-1900.

On this day (February 12th) 1909, to commemorate the birthday of Abraham Lincoln (R-IL), two African-American Republican suffragists, Mary Terrell and Ida Wells, co-founded the NAACP.

“The Republican Party, on the contrary [to the Democrats], holds that this government was instituted to secure the blessings of freedom, and that slavery is an unqualified evil. [Republicans] will oppose in all its length and breadth the modern Democratic idea that slavery is as good as freedom.” — Abraham Lincoln
