REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY SUPPORTS PRESIDENT
The Washoe County Republican Executive Board, at their regular meeting, voted unanimously to support President Bush’s acceptance of General Petraeus’ report on Iraq. “The President made it clear that we are at a critical moment in the direction that our country must take” stated Heidi Smith, Chairwoman of the Central Committee. Smith added “it is clear that the President relies upon his Generals for the right information, and we support him in that effort to rid the world of our sworn enemies. It is shameful what elected officials are saying about General Petraeus’ report and recommendations. It is very easy to play Monday night quarterback from the Beltway!” Smith stated.
